  • This is an extremely common misconception! People see AI flooding stock sites and assume it’s the end of the road. The truth is, that’s mostly happening in microstock, the sites where people are paying pennies for downloads.

    My focus (and what I teach) is premium stock. Those clients are a totally different world. They’re art directors, agencies, and brands who want real, intentional photography. They’re not using AI images. they’re investing in images that feel authentic, relatable, and elevate their brands.

    From what I’ve seen, big brands are steering clear of AI because there’s been a lot of consumer pushback. AI mostly fills the need for people who would otherwise grab free stock gallery images...it’s simply not the same pool of customers we focus on.
