For Designers and Illustrators

For designing templates to sell:

Ok, hear me out before you start hating on me (I know a lot of designers hate Canva), if you upgrade your subscription to Canva Pro you can create templates and easily make passive income on Creative market, Etsy, or your own shop! Trust me, there’s a huge market for this sort of thing!

For a place to sell tools, fonts templates and more:

Creative Market is a great place for designers and illustrators to set up a shop and passively sell tools, illustrations, designs, Canva Templates, and more! If you don’t yet have a large following Creative Market has the traffic to drive sales to your shop!

For Photographers

For Community+ Learning

Click Community is a great place to find a creative community of photographers, ask questions, and participate in creative challenges. Tons of free trainings and resources are included in the monthly cost of this membership. Plus, I’ll be guest teaching at Click Away in Chicago this summer and can’t wait to meet up with people in person!

For (nearly passive) Print Sales

Passive print sales is a no-brainer for most photographers. For more information, check out this post to read all about why I recommend Instaproofs for this purpose.

For Building your Passive Income Empire

.

For Creating Courses

I host all my workshops and bigger offerings (Stock Phtography Academy) on Kajabi. It's pretty easy to use, and they have great customer service. I also prefer the user experience of Kajabi.

For Running your Biz

For automating nearly anything:

If you provide a service or work directly with clients, a CRM will save you hours upon hours of time through automation. I used HoneyBook for many years with my wedding photography business and later switched to Dubsado. I liked both but felt Dubsade was more robust for my multiple offerings. Check out both to see which one might be best for you!

for emailing a subscriber list/ sending newsletters/ selling passive income use

I absolutely love ConvertKit, especially If you're just starting out or don't have a hugely sophisticated funnel yet. It's easy to use, compose emails in, and allows you to build funnels and tag/ segment parts of your audience for more customization.

For making Bank with emails:

Email Stars by Tarzan Kay is the course that will teach you everything you need to know! This course helped me launch my first course and make 50 sales with only a 300-subscriber email list!
